Answers about running a school and class bookings.
Studio is free to use and needs no card. Studio charges no monthly fee and no commission on bookings or online payments. The payment provider Stripe charges its own fees under the agreement the school signs directly with Stripe.
The school shares its schedule link. Participants choose a class, sign in and confirm their booking, then receive a confirmation with the booking terms by email. They can find their bookings in the customer area. The school sets availability, prices and rules.
If the school enables a waitlist, you can join it when the class is full. If a place opens before the cancellation deadline, Studio automatically books the first eligible person and emails a confirmation.
Yes, if the school offers pair bookings. Enter your partner’s name and choose roles; Studio checks capacity and role balance before confirming both places. Studio does not match partners automatically.
Yes. The school connects its own Stripe account and customers buy passes online, for example by card or BLIK. The money goes straight to the school — Studio never receives it. Refunds are made from the dashboard, and cash or bank transfers can still be recorded manually.
Yes. In the school dashboard you can export your customers and bookings to a CSV file that opens in any spreadsheet. Your data is not locked into Studio.
The database runs in a data centre in Ireland and the application server in Frankfurt. Each school sees only its own data, and staff access matches their role. Providers and data transfer rules are listed in Studio’s legal documents.
